Title: Through It All
Pairing: Demi/Selena

Summary: Demi's changed in more ways than one but one thing she's always needed is Selena

Standing outside Selena’s house the moon is full, casting a light over the dark neighborhood. Demi looks up at the glowing orb, the last time she can recall looking at the moon like this was back in Puerto Rico on the beach with Selena. Fitting she thinks, that was when they first gave into their emotions, and tonight Demi would use the moon as encouragement to be brave once again.

Spotting her usual late night route, she effortlessly climbs the tree next to the house and sits on the rooftop next to Selena’s window. Pulling out her cell phone she sends a quick text telling Selena to open her window. Seconds later her request is answered and she turns to find Selena in only a green tank top and black boy shorts.

Before the older girl can speak Demi pushes her roughly into the house, attaching her lips to the other girls as if they were her source of oxygen. Selena pulls back gently, searching for Demi’s eyes for answers to the girls’ sudden appearance but all she can see is sorrow layered with passion and darkness she can’t recall belonging in the girls familiar eyes.

All questions as to what brought upon the sudden rendezvous are silenced as Demi’s hand cradles her face, her eyes memorizing every feature before slowly bringing their lips together in a kiss that takes her breathe away.

“I need you” breaks the silence, neither girl can recall who said it but it’s all they need to break their inhibitions as they move over to Selena’s bed. Demi straddles Selena and removes herself from the other girls’ lips to pull her shirt off, taking a moment to look at the beautiful girl underneath her.

She needed this, it would be her last chance, and she needed to make it mean something. For the last few months nothing she did meant anything but this, this was the world to her, Selena was the world to her and despite everything she would prove it to her.

She presses her face against Selena’s neck, kissing her way slowly up to her lips. Her hand slipping under the other girls’ shirt and treasuring the warmth of skin. She feels Selena gasp into the kiss at the coldness of her hand, Demi pulls back to apologize but is swiftly brought back to the other girls lips as Selena holds her head where its always belonged. Her hand slowly moves to the waistband of Selena’s underwear the other girls breathing becoming more frantic with anticipation. I want to see her; she thinks as she removes her lips from Selena’s and finds her eyes as her hand drifts to the girls’ center. Seeing the effect she has on Selena she thinks this is what power must feel like, having the other girl surrender to her completely with nothing but a touch. As Selena unravels before her she pushes all other thoughts to the side and kisses her once more, trying to place every word not capable of being said or put into song, into that kiss. Its Selena who kisses her desperately this time, clutching at her back, almost afraid that Demi may float away if she lets go.

It isn’t until later when every inch of skin has been explored and both girls are near collapse that they peacefully settle on retiring to bed.

“Aren’t you going to sleep?” Selena murmurs, already on the edge of drifting off to sleep.
“Yeah, in a moment.” Demi says, gently caressing the other girls face.
“Mmkay”
Laying here watching her best friend, her girlfriend she couldn’t believe that after ten years this is where they ended up. Sure there were some points in between that she would gladly change but she would take all those mistakes ten times over if the result would always end up with Selena laying next to her every time.
Looking at her in a such a peaceful state she was pretty sure that Selena was perfect no matter what the other girl would say, all except that red dot on her check. Wait a minute, she thought, quickly removing the imperfection she felt a wetness run down her face and swiftly wiped at it, smearing her own hands with what she could now identify as blood.
No, no, no! Chloe had told her she had time! Possibly months, before the effects would take hold!

“Ready to go?” a calm voice called from the windowsill.

Demi turned facing Chloe, weightlessly standing on a tree branch.
“You told me it wouldn’t be instantaneous! That it could take up to a year! It’s been 3 days!” She roughly whispered trying not to wake a sleeping Selena and knowing that Chloe could hear her well enough.

“I can’t predict these things Demi, it all depends on the person, you must be exceptionally special if you’re turning this quickly.” Chloe said a mischievous glint in her eyes as she stared down Demi. “Now I suggest we get going before your cravings set in and you do something you will no doubt regret. I’ll be waiting outside.”

Demi turned her attention back to Selena, her stained tears flowing more freely.
“I love you, you hear that Sel, I love you. So when you wake up and I’m not here, please, please remember that.” She leaned over the sleeping girl, absorbing her presence and her scent as much as she could, before placing a final ghostly kiss upon the other girls’ lips.

She would find her way back to her with a cure, no matter what. Chloe was the one who made her this, so she must know how to undo it and if she won’t tell her, she’ll make her.

My Saw 6 review

The latest installment in the Saw franchise, Saw VI, is quite difficult to drag yourself to see at first. There’s no denying the series has gone downhill fast after the third and some would say the fourth movie. However, there is good news that this movie is a step up from Saw V, which fans and myself seem to have deemed the absolute worse of the series. Now the way I have decided to look upon these movies is in the form of sagas, or set of trilogies. The first three movies I like to call the Amanda saga or original Jigsaw saga, the focus is evenly divided between the pair. This second trilogy is the Hoffman saga the untested apprentice of Jigsaw. This sixth movie would have ended his saga and began with someone anew however much to my displeasure it did not.

(Beware spoilers ahead) The sixth movie follows Hoffman continuing to play Jigsaw and trying to frame Detective Straum as the Jigsaw copy cat all while a game involving a health insurance agent plays out. We find out that this health insurance agent, who’s name I can’t recall but who truly remembers thee victims names anymore? Has a past with John Kramer, he denied him coverage on a procedure that would have if not temporarly removed his tumor. Thanks to his “system” which is some mathematical equation which decides who is worthy of giving insurance to, so basically a load of bull-crap. John questions his equation pushing forth his “will to survive” vs. statistics of probability and the agent is constantly reminded of that lesson throughout his game. But back to what I watch the Saw movies for, the main plot, the story that will hopefully answer my questions and inevitably give me more which will have me throwing out more cash next year to go repeat the cycle. Hoffman seems to have set the crime scene up perfectly leaving undeniable evidence that Detective Straum was Jigsaws apprentice but unfortunately for him, Detective Perez, (you know the girl who was shot in the face with a smoke bomb type device inside a jigsaw doll in the 4^th movie) well she’s back fully recovered and probably the smartest person in this movie. She sees through Hoffman and intends to prove her former partners innocence.

Throughout this we are treated flashbacks that have everything come full circle. The box John left his wife Jill is a series of six envelopes containing information and pictures of victims, 5 of which are already playing Hoffmans’ game, the 6^th I will get to later. The flashbacks are the highlight to me as we are reunited with Tobin Bell and Shawnee Smith as John and Amanda. Amanda has always been my favorite character because she was so flawed and yet she seemed the only person to truly understand Jigsaw and how his ways could help people. We are shown John explaining to Jill how his method works and presenting her with the living proof of Amanda, we are also shown the obvious tension and bitterness Amanda and Hoffman have towards each other. In probably one of my favorite scenes, while Hoffman is bringing in the guy who eventually goes into the cranking trap from Saw 3 and setting it up, Amanda wheels in Jigsaw and tells Hoffman he is doing it wrong and shows him the correct way and is backed up by John. It is very reminiscent of two children vying for the parents attention and approval.

Anyway, we find out that Amanda is to blame for Jill losing the child by convincing that drug addict to bother Jill to get some drugs (5^th movie) and that is what was in the envelope of the 3^rd movie, basically Hoffman telling Amanda that he knows its her fault and if she doesn’t kill Lynn (the doctor) he will tell John and disown her. Now around this point I can’t hate Hoffman more, its his fault Amanda died and probably why this series is dying urgh anyway back to the review. Basically Detective Perez finds differences in the tape voices has someone change them with the Chief, her, and Hoffman tagging along. As the voice is revealed to be Hoffmans he kills everyone in the room incuding the poor voice decipher lady. He burns the crime scene and for some unknown reason puts Straums fingerprints from his dead hand everywhere, way to go genius. Finally we’re towards the end and Jill traps Hoffman and puts him in the reverse bear-trap that Amanda was in via the 1^st movie. (insert Kanye West interrupting joke here). And you know what I was excited there was no way he could escape this I would finally get rid of this nuicance and the series can continue with Jill, yeah I could live with that. He’s tied down a timer of only 60 seconds and no real objective just to sit there and die. But, as the clock counts down he frees himself from the restraints I’m thinking no worries eh still has nothing and then as its reading 3-2 ,he pushes against the bars of the door window, blocking the trap from ripping his mouth open enough to pull out and be free. Oh yeah, I’m pissed.

Oh also health agent guy goes through traps faces tough moral decisions and is faced with the family of a client who he turned down and who eventually died, to decide if he will live or die. Yeah he dies, don’t care, still pissed. This is a bit out of order but well I’m one of the few people who watch Saw for the plot not the gore. In the end, Saw VI is better than Saw V but not by much the original trilogy will still be the best in my opinion and I cannot wait to get rid of Hoffman so I can stop staring at his smug face for an hour and a half. There were a few survivors of traps aren’t they supposed to become the next apprentices? Should we have an apprentice show deciding whos the next Jigsaw? I don’t know but get rid of Hoffman. I give this 3 Jigsaw puppets out of 5.

Procrastination

So I have a 4 page paper arguing the reasons as to why we should keep the electoral college due on Tuesday,
I've known about it for awhile and I came up with the brilliant idea to also use that topic (and pretty much
the entire essay in itself) to also cover my Comp1 essay that was also due on Tuesday, luckily Comp was cancelled so I have an extra week.

Bad news, its 8:48pm on Sunday, I have most of the day off Monday and I have about 1 page of nonsense and random facts about the Electoral College written down. All I can think about is reading fics and possibly writing some and I have the attention span of a gold fish whenever I even try and read something about the damn thing. I don't even have that like nervousness that comes when you realize "HOLY SHIT I NEED TO GET THIS DONE SO I DONT FAIL!" I can't because I glance at the topic and roll my eyes and think of how boring it is. Maybe if I could write it into some like Sci-Fi epic that would help but I'm not sure my professor would appreciate that.

Ugh, mkay I''m done ranting I will attempt to write down a couple more sentences that are relevant to the topic and then probably go off to try and find new music and shoo my dog away from the computer.

It probably would be considered a waste of time to stay home to watch an entire season of a show on Netflix (especially wen said show is about an hour long each episode) making room only for eating occasionally going outisde and playing the new Fallout 3 DLC but alas, I am unique and college student is this not curriculum? If not it should be. I'll be your uncertified professor don't question me. :)

So its a Rainy Easter Sunday, a day where we celebrate zombie Jesus and lo and behold what can I not do? Shoot zombies in the head because Microsoft decided it would play a cruel joke and hit me with the Red-RIng of death plague on my Xbox 360 after my warranty expired.

Along with that hellish occurence I saw the Dragonball Evolution movie.

You know that news story about the guy that shot himself in a theatre while watching Watchmen, that is surprising, if someone did that while watching this movie, I would completely understand. People who come out of that movie alive should be awarded purple hearts, and before purchasing a ticket you should be asked SEVERAL times if you are indeed sure, and then sign a waver stating that they aren't liable for any injuries you may sustain while banging your head against the wall trying to rid yourself of the EPIC FAIL that is this movie.

Seriously people I don't hate movies often I can usually find some good in them but this...this.....monster...is an insult to my childhood. It's like they watched that one filler episode where Goku and PIccolo go and get their Driver's License for some reason I can't recall and then thought, "Oh that's neat I can make a movie about that." googled 'Dragon Ball Z' clicked images and went off of that.

Okay rant over, I'm going to need indulge in lilykat_squee to get this out of my brain.
